Another major concern is waterflow management within a Catchment. There is major devastation and damage occurring on small Catchment floodplains because of high speed rainfall runoff. These waterflows need to be managed in the upper catchments by way of controlled dams, weirs, Creek barrages, no downhill farming with more consideration towards not causing erosion, soil movement, ecological damage to soil quality etc. I am talking predominantly about small water catchments along the northern side of the Liverpool Range and not the large western River floodplains.
